Google Capture the Flag [Google 2023 CTF] consist of a set of computer security puzzles (or challenges) , students or any candidates can apply
Google will run the 2023 CTF competition in two parts: an online jeopardy-CTF competition, and a different on-site contest open only to the top 8 teams of the online jeopardy-CTF competition. “Capture The Flag” (CTF) competitions are not related to running outdoors or playing first-person shooters.
Instead, they consist of a set of computer security puzzles (or challenges) involving reverse-engineering, memory corruption, cryptography, web technologies, and more. When players solve them they get a “flag”, a secret string which can be exchanged for points. The more points a team earns, the higher up it moves in rank.
Prize of Google Capture the Flag
The top 3 teams from the jeopardy CTF will earn prizes of 12k, 5k, or 3k USD; and the top 8 teams will be invited to another contest to compete for additional prizes of up to 7k USD.
The Contest begins at 18:00:00 (6:00:00 P.M.) UTC on June 23 2023 and ends at 18:00:00 (6:00:00 P.M.) UTC on June 25 2023 (“Contest Period”).
